OneIP v4.4.2 Update

Modified on Wed, 5 Nov at 5:26 PM

Bug Fixes

- Some IR signals were not being forwarded correctly

- Mesh Controller would register devices that had previously been factory reset rather than leaving them unadopted from the mesh

- Mesh Registration was not working correctly in some cases

- Video Encoder/Decoder didn't respond to commands in some cases, requiring a reboot to resolve

- Some video scaling configurations resulted in warning 2023 and scaling would not be configured

- Daisy Chain Detection

- EDID Details Button was disabled in the UI while the sink was powered off or not decoding video

- don't show manager applications and missing bays on the mesh setup page

- HTTP POST API commands would sometimes not return the correct response

- System Log would sometimes not update until after the unit was rebooted when the log was cleared

- all API commands are now case insensitive

- Mesh Setup Page would display control method "CEC" on units that had CEC disabled globally

- Updating the "hidden" status of remote devices on the mesh setup page

- Disabling CEC would not update the control method if it was set to "CEC"

- Bootloader now executes better guards against firmware (binary) issues. The bootloader will now automatically attempt to restore devices with corrupt or failing firmware. Previously this could happen when a firmware upgrade got interrupted because of a power loss during specific parts of the write process.

- "failed to register source" warning in some cases when adding a new device in the mesh

- Device Settings couldn't be saved if CEC got disabled globally

- mx_remote protocol improvements and stability fixes. The protocol will now also work reliably on large scale setups.

- stability fixes and improvements

New Features

- Remove a device from the mesh on the controller. The button will appear when a device has been offline for more than 5 minutes

- Support for OneIP Pro, adding support for SFP modules and RCA/optical audio. A new "audio" column will appear on the mesh setup page if a OneIP Pro is present

- Support for OneIP Multiviewer. A new "configure" button will appear on the mesh setup page if a multiviewer is present

- Cable Test Details on the system health page

- Setting to disable the HDMI output when there's no source signal. This is useful for screens without CEC support, like PC monitors, that can then go into standby along with the source device.

- Local Device Information in /network/remote/list

- "sink" and "source" fields in /network/remote/list, which points to the mapped input or output bay

- "firmware" field in /system/details, showing firmware and bootloader versions

- power saving status in /v2ip/status and /system/health

- full API support for the cloud service

- support for (re)programming input and output components

Improvements/Changes

- CEC is now enabled by default on new units or after a factory reset

- Removed some deprecated /cec API endpoints. The remote control API, which includes all features that were available in /cec, should be used instead

- The "Device Offline" overlay will now be displayed on sinks if the source device gets rebooted

- The installer ID of mesh members is now synced with the ID that's set up on the controller unit

- Web Interface improvements: much faster pages, improved feedback and diagnostics when a problem has been detected or when something is happening to the system, like a firmware upgrade

- Reset IGMP when an audio/video stream drop is detected?
