Video Guide on accessing gotoyourmatrix.com

Gotomymatrix.com is a device discovery service that locates Pulse-Eight products on your local network and directs you to their built-in web interface. It works by detecting devices on the same network as your browser and either taking you directly to a device or presenting a selection screen if multiple devices are found.

Gotomymatrix.com only works when your computer or device is on the same local network as your Pulse-Eight hardware. It will not work remotely over the internet, or if the Pulse-Eight device is on a different network segment or VLAN.

How to Use Gotomymatrix.com

1
Ensure the device you are using (laptop, tablet, phone) is connected to the same local network as your Pulse-Eight hardware.
2
Open a web browser and navigate to gotomymatrix.com
3
If only one Pulse-Eight device is found: you will be taken directly to its web interface.

If multiple Pulse-Eight devices are found: a selection screen appears listing all detected devices. Each entry shows the device type, IP address, serial number, and the date and time it was last seen. Click the device you want to access.

Understanding the Device Selection Screen

When multiple devices are found, the selection screen shows all Pulse-Eight products on the network. Devices are listed by type — for example:

  • Neo8A, NeoX+ — Neo Matrix models
  • ProAmp 8 — ProAmp amplifier
  • OneIP Mesh - (N Devices) — a OneIP mesh with N units. A warning triangle indicates one or more devices in the mesh are offline or have a pending notification.
  • OneIP Transceiver (Unadopted) — a OneIP unit that has been detected on the network but has not yet been adopted into a mesh
  • OneIP Receiver (Unadopted) — a OneIP receiver detected but not yet adopted
If you see a note at the bottom of the page saying "Multiple OneIP devices have been detected and at least one of them is offline. Click here to show all devices" — click the link to see all devices including offline ones, which are hidden by default.

Accessing a Device Directly by IP Address

If you know a device's IP address, you can access its web interface directly without using gotomymatrix.com by typing the IP address into your browser's address bar — for example:

http://192.168.1.200

This is the preferred method for permanent or frequent access, and is more reliable than gotomymatrix.com in complex network environments. To find a device's IP address, check your router's DHCP client list, or look at the Network Settings page in the device's admin interface.

Troubleshooting: Device Not Found

If gotomymatrix.com cannot find your device, check the following:

  • Same network? Confirm your computer is on the same network segment as the Pulse-Eight device. If you are on Wi-Fi and the device is on a wired network, they may be on different VLANs.
  • Device powered on? Check the front panel LEDs on the device are illuminated.
  • Network cable connected? Verify the Ethernet cable is firmly connected to both the device and the switch.
  • Try the IP address directly. If you know the device's IP, try accessing it directly. If this works but gotomymatrix.com doesn't, the discovery service may be blocked by a firewall or network restriction.
  • mDNS/Bonjour blocked? Gotomymatrix.com uses mDNS (Multicast DNS) to discover devices. Some networks block mDNS traffic. If this is the case, access devices directly by IP address instead.
